Unloading & Loading/Parking – You may unload and load in front of the Maryland Theatre and then park in one of the nearby garages or metered parking on the adjacent streets. https://wcc2021.org/parking/
You might find a cart helpful in loading/unloading. The elevator at the front of the building will let you bypass the staircase.
Tables are all located on the first floor of the theatre, upon arrival a volunteer will help you locate your table which is marked. All tables are fully covered but feel free to bring your branded materials to cover the table.
Event Name Tag – All attendees will be required to wear a name badge. Those officially registered for the conference as a volunteer, sponsor, speaker or attendee will have a special badge which gives them access to the presentations and in some cases other conference activities. All exhibitors must check in at the registration table located in the front lobby of the theatre. A name tag will be provided to each person which will show their level of participation.
Breakfast/Coffee – Please enjoy complimentary breakfast and coffee each day from 7:30 am – 10:30 am. THERE ARE NO ADDITIONAL MEALS, TOURS OR EVENING EVENTS IS INCLUDED WITH THE EXHBITOR RATE.
WCC exhibitor policy
The World Canals Conference offers exhibitor space for a fee during the morning sessions at the Maryland Theatre August 30 through September 2. Fees for space, table(s) and chairs are as follows:
- $75 ($125 for two tables)
- $100, if you need a table with electrical power available ($150 for two tables)
- Two chairs and a tablecloth are included with table rental.
The tables will be setup around the perimeter of the theater lobby. The rectangular tables are six feet long. You will have several feet of space behind the table. You can setup banners behind your table. You can display materials, pass out brochures and sell products (exhibitors are responsible for all financial transactions).
We expect attendees to gather in the lobby for coffee service before the first morning session (8-8:30 a.m.) and the between the morning sessions (10-10:30) each of the four days of the conference. The second morning session is scheduled to end at noon.
You will be granted access to set up Monday morning at 7 a.m. You must vacate the premises no later than 1 p.m. Thursday.
The location will be secured overnight. We have rented the entire theater for the duration of the conference. There is a gate that stretches across the lobby to prevent access by those visiting the ticket office. The conference organizers are not responsible for loss of property.
